Nikon's log, in camera or from N-RAW.

Each format comes in three outputs: Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 for TV and grading monitors, Gamma 2.2 for computer screens and the web, and P3 for cinema projection.

Four looks, all included

Three scenes through each look. Shot on a RED, and every camera's files render them the same way.

Three scenes through the Base look: a face, a sunrise and a white bird.
Base. Neutral and true. The one to start from if you do want to grade.
The same three scenes through the Film look, softer with lifted blacks.
Film. Blacks that never reach zero, softer contrast, colour pulled back, cool shadows against warm light.
The same three scenes through the Outdoor look, more contrast and deeper blues.
Outdoor. Strong contrast, deep blues, greens that stay green.

Travel. Golden highlights and richer colour, with skin left alone.

Resolve has no entry called N-Gamut, because Nikon defines it as the Rec.2020 primaries. Set the input to Rec.2020 with Nikon N-Log. We confirmed that is correct by measuring it against Resolve.

Nikon shooters are badly served by LUT sellers. Most packs do not include N-Log at all.
